Time to break in the new site. This post is a long time coming, and I’m glad to finally get off the ground. I’ll be using this site as a digital art gallery; a venue to display photographs and enhanced imagery. One of my favorite subjects is city skylines, so fitting that my first post is this lovely city shown here, Charlotte North Carolina. Taken from a familiar hangout in the 1st ward around dusk one night this summer, Charlotte has one of the most unique skylines that I’ve encountered. The city is picturesque at dusk, sometimes its difficult to tell that its not a giant painting. The color gradient on the photo provides great contrast between building and sky, but most importantly gives a surreal, almost sketched image of the city at this time of day. Might need to get this one blown up…
