Sunset Boat Cruise

image

Last week, a group of us went out on a friend’s boat to enjoy a sunset cruise in peace on a normally crowded Lake Norman. We had some wine, cubed deli cheese, and some wheat thins while we floated. I thought this would be a great time to test out some different lenses, so I borrowed a Tamron 28-75mm f 2.8 from my local camera shop  to get some shots with a different look and perspective than what I’m used to capturing. I was happy with how my tested images came out; the lens captured a lot of light in a dim setting, and drew attention to the subject in focus while blurring the background and any other out of focus objects.
